• After the tattoo is completed, we put some ointment on a new tattoo and cover it up with a bandage to protect the area of skin from possible bacterial and other infectious agents in the surrounding.You can take it off in about 3~4 hours. When you take the bandage off, wash your tattoo softly with soap and warm water then gently pat dry with a clean dry towel. Apply a thin coat of ointment that the artist gave you or nonprescription ointment such as Vaseline, Oronine with no incentive. ( We will give you some ointments when the procedure is done. )

• Remove the bandage, change it to a new one. ( Saran wrap can be substitute for a bandage. ) You should cover your tattoo for the first 2 days with a bandage, after the 3rd day, you can just put ointment on it.

• After a couple of days you get a tatto, clothes get stained with ink or lymph.

• Please wear a loose, clean and comfortable clothing around the tattoo.( Don’t put gauze because it will pull out the color and cause all kinds of lint to stick to the tattoo. )

• Apply thin layer ointment twice or three times a day.

• A tattoo forms a scab in about a week. ( The healing process varies among individuals. )You will start to itch when it begins to heal but please don’t scratch or pick.Wash your tattoo once a day for keep it clean. ( Stay out of the bathtub or hot tub for at least a week after you get your ink. )Avoid direct sun till its completely healed. ( Please make sure you put on a sunblock when you go back in the sun or a tanning bed after a tattoo is fully healed.)The tattoo is under your skin, and your tan will form above it. If you get too dark, some colors (white, yellow, pink, and orange) may not show up as brightly as they could. Over time, excessive exposure to sunlight will cause your tattoo to fade or blur no matter what colors are used.

• Avoid swimming in the Ocean or a Pool, Hot Tubs, Hot springs and Saunas at least a month.

Day 6 and on…

Your skin/scab will start to peel. Your new tattoo will start to itch, but please avoid scratching the area.

The skin under a freshly peeled scab is very thin and tender, so please avoid any contact on the area.

Your tattoo should be healed 1 – 1.5 months after the scabbing has naturally peeled off.
